  Conduct Basic Fire Fighting

  Delegates will be equipped with the skills and the knowledge that is required to identify fire types, select the correct extinguisher and control fires in the workplace while also taking preventative measures. The basic fire fighting course can (and should) be attended by employees responsible for workplace firefighting and appointed workplace firefighters.

  Perform Basic Life Support and First Aid Procedures (FAL1)

  This course is for persons required to assess the emergency situation and providing basic Life Support and basic First Aid in order to stabilise patients prior to transfer to the emergency services.

  Apply Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Procedures (She Representative)

  The Health & Safety Representative course incorporates theoretical, practical and reflexive learning. It ensures that the learner is exposed to the true requirements and function of the Health & Safety Representatives in the working environment. The Health & Safety Representative appointment is a legal requirement under Section 17 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and is compulsory for every organization.

  Provide Risk Based Primary Emergency Care/First Aid in the Workplace (FAL2)

  This course will be useful for employees to enable them to provide primary emergency care (first aid) in response to an occupational risk induced or any health emergency in their specific workplaces.

  Demonstrate Knowledge and Application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993 (OHSA) (as amended) and the Responsibility of Management in terms of the Act. (Legal Liability)

  This course is intended for all managers who should know the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and the consequences of non-compliance. It will be beneficial for managers at all levels as well as safety and security officers, compliance officers and people working in commercial and industrial insurance.
